ABOUT RHONA MACLEOD
Where did Rhona MacLeod come from?

The inspiration for Rhona came from a former pupil of mine who became a forensic scientist for the Met in London. Her love of her job began my own fascination with forensic science. But a book begins with a scene in my head that won’t go away. When I wrote the first line of DRIFTNET, 'The boy did not expect to die', I could hear the click of Rhona MacLeod's high heels as she approached the crime scene. Four novels and a novella later, I'm still discovering things about her. She's had a tough time so far, and it'll probably get worse before it gets better. Good job she's a strong sexy woman ...
